Our history in the foodservice industry began in 1985 when Ron Breske founded Variety Foods in Sioux Falls, SD. From humble beginnings Variety Foods grew its’ business providing excellent customer service to foodservice accounts in and around the Sioux Falls area. Today Variety Foods provides a complete line of quality products to hundreds of satisfied customers in South Dakota, Minnesota and Iowa. In 2007 Variety Foods was acquired by Toba Foods of Grand Island, Nebraska. It is now part of a growing family of foodservice operations that include: The Thompson Company of Grand Island and Braunger Foods of Sioux City, Iowa. Together, the Toba organization does business with thousands of customers from a wide variety of industries across the Midwest.

We have a complete line of sanitation and cleaning products. Variety Foods also offer a complete beverage program providing juice, tea and coffee and all the dispensing equipment needed.

From diced onions to sliced pineapple to party trays, we process your order to your specifications. We start with the freshest produce and the finest cheeses and then we do all the prep work for you saving you valuable time and money.
